about mePhotography started out for me as a way to stave off boredom. Stuck on the side of a road in South Africa, waiting for a repair truck to arrive, I had only my camera and instruction manual to hold my interest. As I began to read the technical features of the camera, the visual world around me began to open up and I saw all of the beauty surrounding me, waiting to be captured and represented on film. Fear of boredom led to passionate excitement over the pursuit of the perfect picture. As I left South Africa that year, my taste for photography had been whetted, and I knew photography was to be an important part of my life moving onward.

While no degree states my qualifications, my experience, from the fields of Africa to New York engagement shots to lavish weddings, has dictated my knowledge and honed my skills. I believe that every photo opportunity is truly a chance to recognize the significance of a moment and give it its due. Creative, unique, and beautiful shots are the hallmark of my efforts, and I look forward to capturing your significant moment with style and beauty.

"To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event."

about meMy defining moment as an artist in college was a decision I made to only take photographs that I LOVE. I try to bring passion and a creative eye to every image I compose. I started with a love of photography in high school that grew into the realization that I could not imagine doing anything else.

I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Integrative Arts/Photography from The Pennsylvania State University in 2008 and have since embarked on a life-long journey to capture the world through my lens. I hope that you will find in our photographs our love of people and our joy in being able to share these moments with them.

"There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer."
